Here at Brygon Medical Centre we provide a wide range of essential services for your health care. As well as our core general practice, we offer on-site pathology and an on-site pharmacy for your convenience.

SKIN CANCER CHECKS

We have male and female doctors that are specially trained in skin cancer medicine.

ANTENATAL CARE

Our doctors are fully trained in antenatal care and can provide shared-care services along with Gold Coast University Hospital.

VACCINATIONS

We provide all childhood vaccinations and also adult ones such as whooping cough, tetanus, and travel vaccines.

MENTAL HEALTH

Our doctors are trained to deal with various mental health issues and assist with mental health care plans. We also have a Gold Coast University Hospital psychiatry registrar in the surgery once a fortnight that is able to see patients for no charge.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT MEDICALS

We are able to complete different types of employment medicals. These are not covered by Medicare, please speak to reception regarding costs as these vary depending on type and length.

DRIVER'S MEDICALS

Our doctors perform standard medical driver’s licence health checks as well as commercial drivers licences. The fee for commercial driver’s licence is $165 inc. GST.

FRACTURE & WOUND CARE

Our doctors are able to apply plaster casts for simple fractures not requiring orthopaedic review. We also can apply fibreglass casts for a small fee. We are able to provide all types of wound care by our qualified nurses.

WORK COVER

Our doctors and allied health are able to see WorkCover Qld patients.

ACUPUNCTURE

Dr Matthew Stark specialises in musculoskeletal and sports medicine with an emphasis on using acupuncture/dry needling for treatment.

PSYCHOLOGIST

We have 2 psychologists working in the practice, one male, one female. They work varying hours to accommodate patients that work full time.

ALLIED HEALTH

We have a physiotherapist, dietitian, exercise physiologist and podiatrist working in the surgery throughout the week. They see patients under care plans and also private visits, no referral needed.

PATHOLOGY

Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology is on site for all pathology testing (bloods and other testing).
Monday - Friday: 8am - 4pm
(Closed Saturday and Sunday)

PHARMACY

Brygon Pharmacy is on site.
Open Monday - Friday: 8am - 6pm
Open Saturdays: 8am - 12.30pm

REGISTERED NURSE

Brygon Medical Centre have a registered nurse on site to assist with procedures.
